Weston's 1st Day of School

Weston started MDO last Friday and he LOVED it! He is going to the Friendswood United Methodist program called Bright Beginnings.  The morning was such a rush, I almost didn't have time to be sad...almost! I was sooooo nervous leaving him because he's never been left with anyone but family, but once I knew he had a good day it put some of my anxiety at ease. He will go every Monday and Friday from 9-1:30. I will get to drop him off, but because of work I won't be able to pick him up. There are eight other children in his class and he is the oldest. As soon as we got there, he pointed to the toys and as I put him down, he ran straight to the toys. Luckily I got in one more kiss and we left. His teachers seem to love him (how could they not) and even texted me on the first day to check in. I can't wait to start getting artwork and pictures of him to hang on our fridge. Weston is EIGHTEEN Months Old

Happy 1/2 Birthday my sweet angel! Today Weston is 18 months old. He is so loved and adored by not only me, but our whole family. I may be biased, but I think he is just perfect and the very best baby around. He is so full of life and smiles, but he has started throwing some tantrums every now and then. I thank God every day for choosing me to be his Mommy. I can't think of any other job I would want! 

At eighteen months Weston...

*weighs 26 lbs

*is 33 1/2 in long

*wears a size 4 diaper

*is getting taller, so his 18 month pants are getting big 

*loves Mac and Cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers, blueberries, and green beans 

*learns a new word almost daily-it amazes me how much he knows and what he remembers

*can count to 10 with a little help 

*lays out objects and counts them out

*loves doing puzzles and building towers with blocks 

*is becoming a little "drama king" and will fall and then get up and say, "oh no, ouch bo-bo!" 

*still loves reading books 

*loves trucks, trains, and cars (all boy!!)

*pulls me in close and gives me kisses

*loves tickling people and giggling with them 

I love you Weston Michael. Be still my heart.

Home Sweet Home!

We moved on August 15th! We are in LOVE with our new house, and can't wait to start decorating and making it ours. We've almost been in it a month and everything is going great! Weston is loving how much room there is to run and how much he can get in to; we are loving all of the storage and space as well. We ordered new furniture and it should be in soon, so more pictures will be posted as we "grow" into our home. All of our neighbors are super sweet and we love how close we are to our sweet friends. The only downside is that we are further from our family, but we still are able to at least see them once a week! Like I said, there are many, many more pictures to come, but here is one!

Weston's First "Official" Haircut

We recently took Weston to get his first haircut at a salon. He was NOT happy at first, but once he got his lollipop he loved it! He did so good and she took off SO much hair! He looks so handsome and like a little man now! The baby look is officially gone.

Weston is SEVENTEEN Months Okd

Ok, so today Weston is 18 months, so as you can tell I'm a little behind. The last month has been crazy between moving, starting school, and continuing to settle in I just haven't had time to post. Here is a quick update from 17 months :)

At 17 months Weston...

*weighs 25 lbs

*loves dancing to music

*loves spaghetti 

*counts to 5 

*loves taking bubble baths

*loves playing Ring Around the Rosie

*is enjoying all of the new running space at the house 

*talks, talks, and talks! He is a parrot :)

*completely works an iPad and remote

*wears 12-18 month shorts and 18 month shirts 

*has the sweetest laugh...I smile ear to ear when he has a case of the giggles 

Weston is getting more fun each and every day! We are so lucky to be his parents!
