Happy Thanksgiving!

This Thanksgiving Ryan and I have SO much to be thankful for.  This year has brought many, many blessings to each of us and we are ever-so grateful.  It's hard believe that so much can happen in just one year's time, but we are living the dream nevertheless.  Ryan and I didn't do the "30 Days of Thanks" this year, but I can't wait to do it next year.  Since I didn't do it, I wanted to write a few things I was thankful for here:

*My loving husband, Ryan.  He is the calm to my storm on most days, my voice of reason, and my best friend.

*My unborn, precious miracle, Weston Michael Snider who in just a little more than three months will be here to love.

*My wonderful mom, who even though we test each other quite frequently, she is always there for me and has helped me out with so much this year.  From the wedding planning, to daily tasks, to now preparing for baby Weston.

*My precious dad, who I can always count on to not only lend a helping hand, but also to make make laugh.  Even though he's had a rough year being out of a job, he still tries to have a good attitude.

*My Mimi who is getting stronger everyday.  She has had a rough year of illness and moving, but she still puts a smile on her face everyday.

*My amazing friends who I love dearly.  Not a lot of people can say that their best friends are childhood friends, and that warms my heart.  Each and every one of them is so near and dear to my heart.

*My immediate and extended family who we see frequently, and those who we see rarely.  It's such an awesome feeling to know you are loved and supported by people who are scattered across Texas.

*My health, shelter, food, and job.  These things that sometimes get overlooked because they are the staples of our lives, I am thankful for.  I have been blessed with a precious life and I can only take advantage of each and every day that I am given.

*My sweet, sweet puppies, Harper and Hadley.  Anyone who knows me, knows that my dogs are EVERYTHING to me.  Yes, I talk to them and treat them like children, but that's only because they really are apart of me.  They make me laugh and smile every day with little things they do and can make me happy on a sad day.

I hope each and everyone of you had a wonderful, safe, and blessed Thanksgiving Day.  I hope you got your fill of food, fill of love, and fill of time with your family.

Good Times, Good Laughs, Great Friends

Last night a lot of us girls got together for a MUCH needed girl's night.  We all met at our favorite place in Friendswood, the wine bar, and had snacks and drinks (most of us anyway).  We haven't all been together in a really long time, so it was so good to see everyone.  We had a room to ourselves and boy did we need it with all of the laugher going on!
Thanksgiving is about reflecting on your blessings and being grateful for the life you have been given.  I am TRULY, TRULY blessed with an amazing group of friends.  No matter how long we go without seeing each other face to face, when we do get together it is like no time has passed at all.  I am ever so thankful for each and everyone of my friendships!  I hope you all have a very thankful and happy Thanksgiving Day!

23 Week Update

Time is FLYING by....

...and the tummy is growing!

I am now 23 weeks pregnant and am feeling great!  I have FINALLY started to feel little Weston move inside of me, and it is just as exciting and amazing as everyone says it is!  In fact, two nights ago his movement WOKE ME UP in the middle of the night!  We go back to the doctor the 21st for our next appointment, but I don't think we will be getting any more pics of the little man!  We are planning on scheduling a 4D ultrasound for around 30 weeks, so until then we will just have to use our imagination about how much he's growing and what he's looking like! Weston's bedding has arrived and by the end of the month his furniture will be in.  I can't WAIT to start decorating his room.  I am planning on having the room painted over Thanksgiving Break by one of my great friend, Myra's, dad!  Her dad's company has painted my entire house and they do an AMAZING job!
This coming week our good friends, Erin and Arron, find out what the sex is of BOTH of their precious babies!  We are so excited to find out whether we have two more boys, introducing two girls, or have a one of each sex coming to join the group around the time Weston is!
Like I said, time is flying by and I couldn't be happier.  I keep telling myself the next two months are going to pass by with a blink of an eye because of the holidays.  I am anxiously awaiting my week vacation for Thanksgiving in just TEN more work days!!  After that, only THREE weeks until a glorious 2 1/2 weeks off.  Ryan has been super busy recently, which is both a blessing and a curse.  We haven't been able to spend too much time together, but I am ever so grateful of his work ethic to support our family!
